#74 Skattor Minox [special]

Electroschlag #25

Skattor Minox, what does it mean?
Basically, nothing. It is a by-product of a psychedelic sequence.
With this project, I was pursuing all ideas that would enter my mind.
Several styles would converge, without a conscious decision on my part.

Instruments were played live and recorded directly on cassette tape or DAT.
Rhythm machine patterns were changed in real-time, keyboards were played, drums were beaten, hardly any overdubs made.

The albums and EP’s had a specific subject or a theme I would dissect into tiny details.
The last track of this episode, turned out to be a foreboding. The lyrics were sung from a ten year-old boy’s perspective, who experiences his hometown being bombarded. A year later, Novi Sad (my hometown) was a target of NATO bombers and various missiles shot from the Mediterranean Sea.
